ATX´s new spectraprocessor SDC is the first device combining
an optical bench (flat field imaging spectrograph) with the read out/ processing
electronics in a small dual in line 24 pin housing. Therefore it can be used
like a standard electronic IC with an optical input. The data access takes place
similarly to a memory device (e.g. RAM).
